AAP Hawaii Annual Dinner
August 29, 2019 – 6 PM to 9 PM | The Pacific Club
We are honored to have Dr. Kyle Yasuda, President of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as our Featured Speaker
This is the first time in the 89-year-history of AAP that a “local boy” is President. He was raised in Hawaii and graduated from Punahou School. Dr. Yasuda worked in primary care for 18 years prior to joining University of Washington as clinical professor and medical director. He has been active with the AAP for more than three decades, during which time he has served as the Washington State Chapter President and various leadership roles in the AAP including chair of the AAP Committee on Practice and Ambulatory Medicine, which often is called on to comment on how policies and procedures could impact pediatricians in practice.
Dr. Yasuda wears many hats as President of AAP presiding over 67,000 pediatric providers with one common goal: What is best for our keiki!
